2019 SESSIONS
The inaugural Nine Muses Festival took place in March 2019. Gemma Cairney made a special visit to Sweden hosting the festival with her endless energy and sincerity, and introducing us to an array of speakers.
MORNING STAR
Our morning star sessions featured phenomenal women across the creative arts industry. The speakers presented on topics from investment, women’s history to the changing face of women in culture. Check out a couple of them for yourself below.

An hour of lightning talks where fierce females from the world of TV, Radio and Media Tech gave insights into their career journeys.
THE OLYMPUS - MUSIC PANEL & PERFORMANCE
We battled the lunch food comas with a special performance from Japanese Breakfast followed by an insightful music panel from women in the music world. Check out the discussion below.
THE MOTH STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
In the afternoon The Moth hosted a storytelling workshop. We built connections and found ways to take positives from our experiences through the art of story-telling and sharing. Stories were shared in trust that they'd be kept in that safe environment, so sorry but videos aren't available!
EVENING STAR CLOSING SPEECH
Empowering and inspiring women is what the day is all about and the final evening star was no exception. With self love at the forefront of this session, Gemma wrapped up by reading an extract from her book: Open Your Heart.
